How do I get my free website on to the domain I paid for?

GET HOSTING FOR 1 Cent! USE CODE: JURY

I can code like a demon and know html like the back of my hand. Unfortunately I have no idea how to upload an entire website without going file by file, or without those nice easy upload buttons on most free webhosting sites.

You could use dreamweaver. It has an FTP for you to connect to your hosting. There you can uplaod your whole files to the hosting in one Go…!

UMM, you can use FTP. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ftp. Basically you upload entire directories to the webserver. Free webservers like http://www.tripod.com and http://www.grinhost.com allow FTP uploading.

Go to http://www.WebStarts.com and sign up for an account. Once you’re in your account click on “My Account” in the top right.

From the “my account” page click “add domain”. Enter the domain name and change your dns “A” records to point to this IP address 209.18.64.141.

If you need further assistance please email support@webstarts.com after you’ve created your account.
