How much space am I using in my hosting account?

GET HOSTING FOR 1 Cent! USE CODE: JURY

How do I find out how much space I am using in my hosting account? I am wanting to switch hosting and need to transfer all my files but want to make sure I get enough space. My issue with my hosting company now is that I don’t have enough space and cant get a hold of them. I store WAAAAAAAY more files than a typical website. We’re talking thousands of pages. Please advise. Thanks!

Normally, when you purchase a domain name and host it, you will be given an account to access your web control panel. To access the control panel, a link also will be sent to your email together with the login authentication. For my case, the link will look like this:-
    http://www.my-domain.com/cpanel

Once you get into the Cpanel, please find a menu to check your web space.

Or else, just email/contact your web hosting provider to check it for you.
