ASP.net – Specifying a directory when the Web Host won’t specify the drive letter?
My Web Host won’t tell me what the full path is that I’m placing my files in.
I’m trying to open up a database using OleDbConnection. When I don’t specify the drive letter, it just assumes I mean c:\windows\system32\.
I’m trying to open “\user\access_db\Catalog.mdb”
How can I specify this in the Connection String?

How do I host my own Web Site ?
I have a registered domain with GoDaddy and want to host my own website using my own Web Server at home. Are there any free DNS hosting services around ? I tried FreeDNS, but their service is not free for registered domains only for dynamic DNS services.
I meant DynDNS not freeDNS. I already tried them both.

I’ve had my site up for years. The domain is mysite . freewebhost . com. I want to register a new domain so I can have it as mysite . com. How can I keep the traffic that will still be going to my old site for a while. Are there any types of redirection services?
