How do I find out which web host a site is using by entering their URL?

I need to find the web host of a certain domain name, so I can contact their host. I am checking the whois but I cannot seem to find the host of the domain.

So how do I find which web host the site is using just by entering the URL somewhere?

Using PrintMaster to publish my web page, but final product has poor graphics qualities. How can I fix this?

I am using PrintMaster Platinum 17 to publish a website for my husband’s restaurant. I have graphics on my computer that I have created for the purposes of designing the website and the printed materials (menus, business cards, etc.) necessary to run the business. My computer displays them properly on the screen until I publish the pages, and then they come out awful! They look terrible on the site, and I would love to know of some way to go about fixing it or what I can do to fix this. Graphics look great on screen as I am editing, but when I preview the project in IE and after publishing to OLSB, it looks atrocious. Example: www.elpotrilloonline.com
The logo displays the kid of poor quality I am talking about…

I am using PrintMaster Platinum 17 to publish, I used a trial of Paint Shop Pro X2 for photos and logo, and Microsoft Office Live Small Business to host the site, if it is of any importance. Thanks in advance for your help!
Actually guys, thanks for the input, but I solved my own problem. I didn’t even bother to look at the html before, but upon doing that I realized that PM was saving those images as .gif files when I was assuming it was keeping them in .png format. What I am in the process of doing is replacing those .gifs with the .pngs and the results are spectacular. Thanks anyway!

Web Host Help! Can I put a web page on the web without using a host? For free?

I guess what I want to ask is this: Can I create a web page on my computer using a program like note pad(i know how to do that) and then do something to link it to the web so it can be viewed by different people and computers? Or do I have to work through a web site host?

Is it possible to run a wiki on the Yahoo servers using their basic web hosting solution?

I would like to set up a personal wiki to organize some of my thoghts and information. I am a subscriber to Yahoo’s basic web hosting plan. This service does not include SSH access to the web servers. Instead, Yahoo mostly allows FTP access, mySQL setup, and limited PHP scripting.

Some wiki’s are supposed to be lightweight and easy to install, requiring only basic PHP/mySQL setup. Is it possible to run and manage one of these using Yahoo’s basic web hosting solution, and if so, which one would you recommend?
